Ra.1 is produced by Gauri and Shahrukh Khan, and features SRK in a superhero avatar G.One. The hotly anticipated sci-fi flick is expected to be the biggest release at Diwali this year. Per reports Star TV has agreed to part with Rs.350 million for the satellite TV rights of the film; Salman Khan’s Bodyguard, Ajay Devgn’s Singam and Ranbir Kapoor’s Rockstar are the other films that Star TV recently acquired the rights for.
T-Series has reportedly paid Rs.150 million for the exclusive music rights of the film, and with the Senegalese American R&B singer Akon signing the headlining item number Wanna be my chammak challo, the movie’s soundtrack seems a certain bet for T-Series. A version of the song was leaked online and became an instant hit; the Ra.One team claims that the final version is much better.
